What is Reiki

What is Reiki?

Reiki is an ancient energy healing practice that was rediscovered by dr. Mikao Ushui in Buddhist teachings in Japan in the second half of the 19th century.

Reiki means God's energy in Japanese.

Anyone can learn Reiki, including children above 5. People who are attuned to Reiki gain the ability to heal themselves, their families, and other people, and can begin a professional career.

Reiki is gentle palm healing when a Reiki healer holds hands in certain positions on her/his body or another person's body. Reiki is channeled through the Reiki healer and is felt as pleasant warmth and warm waves. The experience is very comforting and relaxing and starts a self-healing process.

Reiki heals the mind and negative emotions, and thus it heals the body.

People who receive Reiki regularly enjoy good mental, emotional, and physical health, look younger and deal with various life situations better. Their vibration rises, which ensures their good health and good quality of life.

Reiki harmonizes chakras, energy centres of the body that ensure good functions of body organs.

Reiki is very effective for any pain and dis-ease and boosts the immune system.

Reiki heals cuts, wounds, burns, and pains - they are healed within minutes.

Reiki heals heart conditions, cancer, viral infections, epilepsy, diabetes, migraine, inflammation, nervousness, insomnia, anxiety, addictions, depression, bulimia, anorexia, and others.

Reiki removes viruses and toxins from the body.

Where does Reiki come from?

Reiki was rediscovered by a Japanese Dr. Mikao Ushui in ancient Buddhist teachings in a monastery in Kyoto, Japan, in the second half of the 19th century. After finding the forgotten secret, he started looking for a connection to the source of Reiki. He meditated on a sacred mountain Kurama close to Kyoto for 21 days. On the 21st day, he saw a bright light with symbols and was attuned to Reiki at that moment.

The symbols became an essential part of Reiki teaching and healing. Dr. Mikao Ushui founded a Reiki clinic where he healed and taught Reiki. He attuned only Japanese men. Chujiro Hayashi was one of them. He attuned Hawayo Takata who had come to his clinic from Hawaii with a few health issues. To her amazement, she was healed. She became interested in learning such a unique healing method, and was attuned to Reiki 1, 2, and became a Reiki Master Teacher. She returned to Hawaii and started teaching Reiki and healing people. Thanks to her and her students, Reiki has spread worldwide as a safe and effective holistic healing method.
